History of Government Schools

Mark Selzer interviews Pam Probst, Libertarian Educator and Homeschooler

Mark's guest, Pam Probst dispels urban legends and provides a fascinating history of education in this country as it really happened, as opposed to the version typically provided public school advocates. Among other things, she provides convincing evidence that literacy in America was actually far greater than it is today, and that public schools, rather than increasing literacy, actually led to its decline.

Uncovered: The Truth About The War In Iraq

by Producer Robert Greenwald

See Bush, Cheney, Rice, Powell, and Rumsfeld clearly and repeatedly claim that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction as justification for their invasion. Also see a lineup of former intelligence officials make a clear and compelling case that it was the Bush administration which distorted and misinterpreted the intelligence reports and not the CIA, including former Ambassador Joe Wilson, weapons inspectors Scott Ritter and David Albright, former Director of CIA Stansfield Turner, former Assistance Secretary of Defense Philip Coyle, anti-terrorism expert Rand Beers, former CIA analysts Ray McGovern and Mel Goodman, former CIA operative Robert Baer, and libertarian Lt. Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski (retired) who was last posted to the CIA.

An American Revolution

On The Campaign Trail with Michael Badnarik

In 1776, 56 men assembled in Philadelphia to pledge their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to the task of securing liberty among the American colonies. 228 years later, Michael Badnarik asks, "If you were there in 1776, would you have signed the Declaration of Independence? Would you have signed on the dotted line, knowing that perhaps you were signing your own death warrant?"

Mr. Badnarik, the Libertarian candidate, speaks on the hottest issues in this year's election, including the War in Iraq, the Economy, Health Care, Social Security, and the recently proposed (and defeated) Gay Marriage amendment to the Constitution, among others. You'll also hear him as he discusses his self-described "hot button" issue: protecting the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
