Mark Selzer is a long-time host of "The Libertarian Alternative,"
the long-time-running public access TV show in California which has graciously agreed to share their
videos with us. In return, they have asked that we provide a link to the Libertarian
Party website for those of our viewers who might be interested in joining the party.
Mr. Thompson was the Libertarian Party's candidate for Governor of Wisconsin in
2002 in which he won 10.4% of the vote in a three-way race, which split the vote
between incumbent Governor Scott McCallum and challenger Jim Doyle. Governor
McCallum later charged that Thompson cost him the Governorship!
Thompson talks about the police raid on his restaurant in 2000 and how it led
him to abandon the Republican Party and join the Libertarian Party to become the
most successful gubernatorial candidate the party has ever fielded.
